Matt M.
Franchise Owner
Matt left Corporate America in 2009 and went out on a limb to start something new and different. He joined the College Nannies & Tutors family and purchased his first franchise location in Kansas City. For two years he started the business out of his home with basically a 'list' of qualified Sitters and Tutors who wanted to work. Families would call the office phone and Matt would try to locate a Sitter who would be a good match and wanted to work. My how the business has improved and grown! Today we service hundreds of families all across the KC Metro area with a support staff and app our competition cannot match. He is so proud of this business and the impact we are making in our community every day. In 2014 he purchased his 2nd territory in Edmond, Oklahoma and and then in 2017 purchased another one in Las Vegas, Nevada. Matt is married to his beautiful wife Jennifer and has 3 kids, Payton, Gracie and Lily.
Katie F.
Owner- Director of Operations
Katie is the Co-Owner and Director for Jovie of Greater Kansas City, Edmond OK and Las Vegas NV. She started on Matt's team in 2014 as the Nanny Placement Manager and became Co-Owner in 2019. Growing up on the West Coast in Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles, California, she moved to Kansas City to raise her family in 2009. She loves the outdoors, cultural arts and music. She is passionate about healthy living and happy families.
Danielle Meister
Operations Manager-Kansas City and Las Vegas
Danielle is the Operations Manager for Jovie of Greater Kansas City and Las Vegas, Nevada. She joined our team in 2021 and has been with us for a little over two years. A California native she makes her home with her husband Matthew in Kansas City, where she can be close to her five sisters, and many nieces and nephews. In her free time, Danielle likes to bake, spend time outdoors and travel. She hopes to help our caregivers to thrive and give outstanding support the families of the Jovie community.
Dani H
Recruitment Manager
Dani began her journey with Jovie in March, 2020 just as the pandemic was taking shape. Working as an on call nanny with some temporary placements over the first year, she applied to be a part of the administration team in January of 2021. After working with the on call scheduling team and on special projects a position opened up in recruitment where she has been happily meeting hundreds of candidates ever since! Dani will often be a candidates first point of contact and she is there to meet you, get to know you and if a good fit, welcome you to the team! Dani, along with her wife, baby and 2 teenagers, father in law, two dogs, a bunny and a tortoise live happily in Las Vegas.
Karina R.
Onboarding Specialist
Karina joined our team as an on-call and placement nanny in 2020 and enjoyed engaging with many wonderful families before entering her role as the onboarding specialist. Karina works to support new hires through the onboarding process to ensure that they are set for success as an important member of our team. In her free time, she enjoys getting outdoors off-roading, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her fur babies.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City Come face-to-fin with some of the ocean's coolest creatures at SEA LIFE Kansas City! Test your identifying skills—can you find all four species of sharks in the aquarium!? Participate in shark-themed activities to learn more about sharks and SEA LIFE's conservation efforts. Hear brand-new shark talks from our experts. Add a Behind the Scenes Tour to your visit for even more fun! And maybe even make some new friends... This event is included in general admission.
Luminary Walk 2023
Nov 24th - Dec 16th, 2023 Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, Overland Park, KS Take a stroll along the lit pathways to experience the magical Gnome and Fairy Villages, Marder Garden by candlelight, and the colorful Children's Garden and enjoy musical performances throughout. The gardens are bright with color - while the walkways through quiet woods are lit with candles. Trees, buildings, and bridges are all part of the show, with thousands of lights aglow. Photos with Santa are available from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m., and the trains run in the Train Garden from 5:00 to 8:45 p.m. Complimentary hot cider is available in the Children's Discovery Garden.
